Osnabrück, Germany (4E) – Police in the German city of Osnabrück in the northwest German state of Lower Saxony have seized a large shipment of Ecstasy pills shaped like the head of controversial U.S. president Donald Trump.

About 5,000 of the orange-colored Trump look-alike party drug pills worth an estimated $12,000 were confiscated from a father and son who said they were returning from a trip to Austria when police intercepted their car.

Their explanation didn’t wash, however, and the policemen searched the vehicle. Inside the car, policemen found the orange ecstasy pills hidden in a compartment.

The front of each pill features Trump’s angry face; his coifed hair and pouting lips. The reverse side shows five stars in a line across the top and the word “Trump” in the middle.

Ecstasy, which was originally known as MDMA, is a psychoactive drug used primarily as a recreational drug. Its effects include increased empathy, euphoria and heightened sensations.

A hallucinogen that has the potential to become lethal, Ecstasy gained notoriety as one of the drugs of choice at “raves” or large song and dance parties notorious for their disregard for inhibitions.

Ecstasy pills are illegal and can contain a wide mixture of substances. They can have LSD, cocaine, heroin, amphetamine, methamphetamine, rat poison and caffeine, among others.

The Trump ecstasy tablets, which have high levels of MDMA, have been spreading around Europe, and sell for more than $10 a pill.
