Leadership books

As an engineer turned company CTO, one guide I think about “required reading” for all of my technical leads and managers is The Manager’s Path by Camille Fournier. Fournier does a stellar job outlining all elements of the sometimes-awkward, sometimes-exhilarating development from code to mentorship to administration to government management. The guide is splendidly tactical and actual in its strategy and provides you with sensible management suggestions regardless of the place you might be in your engineering profession. I extremely advocate it.

Kat White

These three books impressed and empowered me to personal and form my profession in tech. They provide three completely different factors of view: the supervisor, the engineer, and the hacker. You can perceive what it is prefer to be in these roles and determine the trail you wish to pursue. You’ll get full and related info to behave mindfully and to cope with obstacles.

Hacking Capitalism might be notably helpful to marginalized people who find themselves prepared to struggle again.
